(Πρώην Sikagard®-850 AG)
Permanent, clear anti-graffiti and anti-fly-poster coating
Sikagard®-850 Clear is a 1-part, ready-to-use, permanent, semi-matt anti-graffiti and anti-fly-poster coating based on polyorganosiloxane. The Product is part of the Sikagard® Anti graffiti system.

- Increasing the resistivity (Principle 8, method 8.3 of EN 1504-9)
Πλεονεκτήματα
- One-part ready to use
- Using non-aggressive cleaning techniques, graffiti can typically be removed more than 50 times without damaging the coating or requiring re-coating.
- Even after many cleaning cycles, poster adhesive does not adhere to the protected substrate or can be easily removed.
- Semi-matt aspect. Clear aspect when using the fair-faced concrete build-up
- Clean with cold water, low pressure (80–100 bar), or cold water with a clean cloth or scrubbing brush.
- Good water vapour permeability
- Low water absorption
- Very good resistance against weathering and ageing
- Good resistance to UV exposure
- Applied by brush, roller, or airless spray
- Low dirt pick-up

Beware of condensation. The substrate and uncured applied product must be at least +3 °C above the dew point to reduce the risk of condensation or blooming on the surface of the applied product. Low temperatures and high humidity conditions increase the probability of blooming.

ΠΡΟΕΤΟΙΜΑΣΙΑ ΥΠΟΣΤΡΩΜΑΤΟΣ
SUBSTRATE WITHOUT EXISTING TREATMENT
The surface must be clean, dry, sound and free from loose and friable particles.
- Prepare the substrate mechanically by selecting and using abrasive blast cleaning, steam cleaning or grinding equipment suitable for the type of substrate.
- IMPORTANT The rougher the substrate, the more difficult it is to apply a uniform coating of the correct thickness. Level the prepared mineral surface with a Sika levelling mortar to provide a smooth substrate for coating. Refer to the individual Product Data Sheet for further information.
EXPOSED MINERAL OR WOOD SUBSTRATE WITH EXISTING TREATMENT
The surface must be clean, dry, sound and free from loose and friable particles.
- Prepare the substrate mechanically by selecting and using abrasive blast cleaning, steam cleaning or water jetting equipment suitable for the type of substrate.
COATED METAL SUBSTRATES
The surface must be clean, dry, sound and free from loose and friable particles.
- Lightly abrade the coating with fine-grade sandpaper to provide a micro-textured surface.
- Clean the surface to remove any dust or abrasion deposits using Sika® Thinner C or Sika® Colma Cleaner.
ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΗ
IMPORTANT
Strictly follow installation procedures
Strictly follow installation procedures as defined in Method Statements, application manuals and working instructions which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.
SUBSTRATE (MINERAL) WITHOUT EXISTING COATING OR HYDROPHOBIC IMPREGNATION (INCLUDING SIKA MONOTOP® PRODUCTS)
- Apply Sikagard®-850 Primer to the prepared substrate at the required consumption rate so that the surface is continuous and pore free. Refer to Product Data Sheet. Note On rough surfaces use a brush to ensure the primer covers all surfaces including voids.
- Leave the treatment to dry and become tack-free before applying the top coat (2–3 hours depending on weather conditions).
SUBSTRATE (MINERAL, METAL OR WOOD) WITH EXISTING COATING OR LASURE
Preconditions
Existing coatings have been tested and are compatible with Sikagard®-850 Activator
- Apply Sikagard®-850 Activator to the prepared substrate at the required consumption rate so that the surface is continuous and pore free. Refer to Product Data Sheet. Note On rough surfaces use a brush to ensure the primer covers all surfaces including voids.
SUBSTRATE WITH HYDROPHOBIC IMPREGNATION
- Apply Sikagard®-850 Primer to the prepared substrate at the required consumption rate so that the surface is continuous and pore free. Refer to Product Data Sheet. Note On rough surfaces use a brush to ensure the primer covers all surfaces including voids.
- Leave the treatment to dry and become tack-free before applying the top coat (2–3 hours depending on weather conditions).
WOOD (UNCOATED)
No primer or activator products are needed.
TOP COAT APPLICATION BY BRUSH OR MEDIUM TO LONG-HAIR ROLLER
- Apply the Product to the prepared substrate at the required consumption rate so that the surface is continuous, pore free and to the required surface finish.
- Protect the freshly applied coating from heavy rain or rain showers until dry to prevent surface damage.
TOP COAT APPLICATION BY AIRLESS SPRAY
- IMPORTANT Do not use aerosol spray equipment designed for car body spraying. Spray the Product in a continuous operation and at a speed to achieve a uniform thickness so that the surface is continuous and free of pores. Note Regularly clean the airless spray equipment to prevent hardened particles from blocking the spraying tip.
- Back-roll the coating with a roller to improve the finish and uniformity of the film build-up.
- Protect the freshly applied coating from heavy rain or rain showers until dry to prevent surface damage.
